Khejdi is a social enterprise dedicated to raising funds for mental health through the celebration of India’s traditional art forms. Named after the resilient Khejdi tree of Rajasthan—known for its versatility and life-sustaining properties even in harsh conditions—our organization embodies the spirit of strength, support, and community care. Just as one Khejdi tree can sustain multiple families during a drought, Khejdi strives to create nurturing spaces for those facing mental health challenges.
About Khejdi
Our Mission
Our mission at Khejdi is to support mental health organizations by raising funds and awareness, ensuring that individuals struggling with mental health difficulties receive the help they need. Through the integration of art, community, and safe spaces, we aim to make mental health support accessible and impactful across the state.
Our focus is to spread awareness about mental health and develop quality community mental health services across Rajasthan. We actively work on creating supportive spaces for expression through various initiatives like weekly sharing circles, Mental health Chaupal, community movie screenings, dance circles, and story circles in Jaipur and other parts of urban and rural Rajasthan.
