Hank Nunn Insitute
Inspired by Hank Nunn’s commitment to holistic mental health, the idea for Khejdi was first conceived within its walls in 2017, marking the beginning of Khejdi's journey in mental health advocacy and community care.
Based in Bengaluru, Hank Nunn Institute is a registered non-profit charitable trust renowned for its person-centered approach to mental health. By tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual and involving them directly in their care planning, Hank Nunn sets a standard for compassionate and inclusive support. Rooted in these values, Khejdi emerged from a shared vision of holistic and inclusive mental health advocacy, carrying forward the legacy of community-centered care.

Mumal, a 29-year-old theatre practitioner based in Jaipur, has been a cherished member of our community for a long time. Her artistic work centers around the stories of women—both within her household and in the broader societal context. Drawing inspiration from the many towns of Rajasthan, which are rich with narratives and issues often left in silence, Mumal aims to illuminate these unheard voices through her performances. We have something exciting planned with her that promises to bring these important stories to the forefront, highlighting the resilience and strength of women in our society.
